Free admission and something for all the family describes King Edward Mine Open Day. The site at Troon, Camborne, is open from 10am until 4pm, is sign posted and has ample free parking.
The buildings of this mine site, which later became a teaching facility for the Camborne School of Mines will be open and the machinery will be demonstrated and there will be plenty of guides on site who will be delighted to answer questions.
The entertainment includes Lanner Silver Band.
There will be Stationary Engines, the Puffin' Devil, Vintage Cars, Miniature Steam, Models and much more.
